Maine Summer Trip Part 3

While we were in Maine for our summer trip, we spent a lot of time at the Camden Yacht Club. It's a great place to meet up with friends and a fun place for lunch, not to mention they have the best view in Camden. The kids loved having lunch there because they always got a giant chocolate chip cookie. Greg and I enjoyed the outside breeze and the fabulous boat watching (similar to people watching!). They have a junior sailing program that we would like to send our kids to, if they aren't afraid of the cold water. One of the requirements is capsizing your sailboat and having to right it yourself. I wouldn't mind learning to sail, but something about that freezing water just gives me the shivers...literally! As for the time we were there, we all had a great time. Hayden was stroller bound for most of the visits, since I didn't want to follow him while he ran for the ocean. He's a jumper, climber, runner, you name it and he will do it. I guess the thought of cold water doesn't affect him. It's not like Florida little boy!

Taylor sneaking a smile. Surprisingly, she is very photo shy.

More posing, and Riley hamming it up for the camera.

The girls looking at all the bees.

Riley enjoyed sitting on the rockers and eating her cookies.

Another schooner...they are taking photos of us as I'm taking photos of them.

Finished her cookie!

Finally! A smile, how sweet.
