My family and I had to travel to Texas last month, but under unfortunate circumstances. My grandfather passed away October 19 from alzheimers. I'll write more later, but I wanted to post these photos from our time there. It was a very emotional visit. These photos were taken a few minutes before we left for the airport to come home. I may be smiling in the photos, but as my five year old says, my heart was full of tears. It was very hard to leave, especially hard to leave my grandmother. I'm very happy that practically all of my family members live within a 20 minute radius of her, so she has a lot of love and support.
