The Worm Tree

We all love a beautiful Christmas tree, so why not a worm tree? At least that's what Hayden told me. While I don't think of a worm tree as something I would put in my house, he certainly had fun decorating his worm tree, or branch. He found the branch from an old basil plant we had that Greg had uprooted a few days before. He dug in the back compost area for some worms and gathered them up in his little plastic bucket. Actually, it was my Ziploc food container that I will no longer use. Eewww. He carefully placed the worms on the branches and then sat there captivated by his creation. For those that are worried about the worms, he did let them go back into the yard, somewhere. Although he wanted them to come inside the house and live. Eewww.
