I was on another blog and the writer was talking about a site called Picnik that adds effects to photographs. Hmmm...sounds interesting! As a previous graphic designer, I used Photoshop on a daily basis, but now that I've been out of the workforce for a while, Photoshop has surpassed me on so many levels. I would have to relearn so much to figure it out again. I'm hoping to get Photoshop Elements soon, which is an easier version of Photoshop, but in the meantime, Picnik will make up for it.
You can upload your images and add effects, styles, and text, plus a lot of other things to your heart's content. It's a lot of fun and can be a bit addicting. I've posted some photos that I "picniked."
