Isn't She Lovely?

After looking at some photos I took of Riley the other day, the song "Isn't She Lovely" by Stevie Wonder popped in my mind. Honestly, I couldn't remember anything past those three words, but I could hear the tune in my head (over and over and over!!). It got a bit annoying after 30 minutes, but the three words were perfect for the photos I have posted here. Riley always has a cute smile on her face, except when she is demanding to watch Diego. Her Diego watching has gotten a bit out of hand and I'm researching a 12 step program for toddlers with Diego and Dora addiction. But when I have her away from that show, she loves to sit in her pink chair and play with her "babies." She'll sit and give them bottles or feed them, and sometimes pretend to change their diapers or rock them to sleep. Taylor was never really like Riley in that respect. Taylor is my bug and dinosaur girl. She carries around her bug field guide while scooping up creepy crawlies in her bug habitat and has me read her passages from her Dinosaur Encyclopedia each night. At night when I put them to bed, Riley sleeps with her babies while Taylor curls up with a plastic dinosaur or has her catch of the day in the bug box nearby her bed. Such loving sisters, but such complete opposites. Enjoy the photos!
