It's been forever since I last posted on here. Of course, there are only 2 posts before this, so it's not like I'm way behind.
We just got back from our Christmas vacation in Texas. First off, taking 3 kids under the age of 5 on an airplane during the holiday season is not something I would recommend to anyone. We ended up being separated on the flights because you can only have one lap child per row. Wish I would have known that beforehand Trying to yell up the row to your husband for a bottle or diapers is not a way to make friends with those sitting around you. Hayden really helped that along when he decided to have a full blowout and there wasn't any diaper changing station on the plane.
We had a lot of fun in Texas, mainly because we got to do mommy and daddy things. I just love it when family visits or we visit them because it's about the only time we get to do things alone. We also did our big family photo which was a blast. We had Tyler Schmitt do the photography who is a brilliant photographer. I'll post some photos once I get them on CD.
The girls loved playing with all their cousins. Taylor kept asking if cousin Ethan could come over for a sleepover. Riley finally broke her shyness and attached herself to everyone. Both Grandma Rita and Grandma Belinda had fun doing things with the kids. It was hard to come back to VA after being around the family, but we are starting to get back into the swing of things.
Have a Happy New Year!
