School is starting which means....I finally have three whole hours ALL TO MYSELF! I have waited six years for this moment. Being that I have those three precious hours while Hayden is in preschool, I have to make the most of my time. Since I've been so neglectful to my blog, I believe I should devote a little time to get this thing back in running status.
There are so many things I need to update on here, plus hundreds of photos I need to share. First up, Riley had her Kindergarten Celebration. Each class did a song individually, and then the entire kindergarten grade did a few songs collectively.
Taylor was in class so she wasn't able to attend, but Hayden came along with me. He enjoyed the songs, and even sang along to Riley's. I guess it was all her practicing at home that helped him learn it.
Of course, the best part, according to my son, was the juice and cookies after the performance.
We were able to get in a photo with Riley's teacher, Ms. Cortez, along with another student who jumped in at the last moment.
Another child graduating from kindergarten, and another one on his way up to kindergarten in a year. I'm starting to realize time really does move fast and parents must enjoy the time while their children are little. Such a cliché but it's true.
