Taylor's birthday fell on Memorial Day Weekend, on a Saturday, just like her real birth five years ago. I made a Hello Kitty cake for her to celebrate that day, but the party ended up being the first weekend in June. The cake was fairly easy to make and came out cute for a novice cake baker. Greg actually had to help me out with it because I started to get nervous when the frosting started to melt off the cake. I guess it helps to let the cake cool first. I'll remember that for next time. Needless to say, the cake was yummy!
